About the SfAA Podcasts

The SfAA Podcast project continued for a third year at the 69th Annual Meeting of the Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA) thanks to our sponsor, the University of North Texas Anthropology Department, and the support of the SfAA Office.  There were sixteen sessions recorded at the Annual Meeting in Santa Fe, NM.  The audio-recorded sessions will be published during the months of April and May 2009 so please refer to our tentative schedule for the list.

Thanks to our sponsorship by the UNT department of anthropology, we were able to bring in a professional to help us with recording and editing the sessions.   I’d personally thank to thank Tommy Wingo for giving us such a great rate and being an important part of the team this year!

The Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA) Podcast project began at the 67th Annual Meeting of the SfAA in Tampa, Florida on March 28th to 31st, 2007. There were ten sessions recorded at the conference. The sessions were made available, free to the listener, as podcasts beginning April 11, 2007 through August 1, 2007.  The SfAA podcasts continued at the 68th Annual Meeting in Memphis, Tennessee in 2008 where 17 additional sessions were recorded.  You can find a list of the available podcasts here.

We welcome you to connect with us through our Twitter account for updates, Flickr account for photos, as well as our Ning and Facebook groups for social networking.
